This is the year of our very first garden.

Oh my, we do have a lot to learn.

I am beginning to wonder if our pumpkins are the only thing that will turn out.

Patience. Time will tell.

I taught myself to can which is really much easier than I thought.

So now we have gobs of strawberry, peach and blueberry jam.

A good start.

I am waiting for the farm to get their blackberries in.

Yum.

I have some stocked in the basement for Christmas gifts.

I decided to start blogging again.

Dipping a toe.

I am now 26 weeks pregnant with my only girl

and I feel human again.

I chose Ava and then I thought about Ruby and now

I REALLY want that, but with an "R" last name, is it too much?

I want to thank all of you who post your favorite Etsy sites

for the very noticeable hole in my wallet. :)

 I need to start crafting my own stuff.

So I went thrifting yesterday and will have tons of

CRAFTING FUN

this week. :)

and only now starting to feel a teeny bit better

(knock on wood).

C turned three on Sunday

So we had the obvious dino-cakes and "pwesents"

We even took the kiddos to a great Mexican food place in town

Where he got free ice cream and the chance to wear a

GENUINE sombrero

We will have to go again next week and recreate the whole event
